The Gailbergsattel (el. 981 m.) is a high mountain pass in the Austrian Alps in the Kärnten (or Carinthia) region. It connects Oberdrauburg in the north with Kötschach-Mauthen in the south. It connects to Italy via the Plöckenpass, also starting from Kötschach-Mauthen. This north side is a steady 7 kilometer climb, with a nice collection of hairpins in the first half.
