Col d’Agnes is one of the most scenic climbs in the Ariège Pyrenees. The lower part is in forest, but the switchbacks towards the top offer fantastic views over to the high mountains that form the borders with Andorra and Spain. It has appeared five times in Tour de France, last climbed on Stage 13 in 2017.
