                            The Portillo de Lunada is a mountain pass in the easternmost sector of the Cantabrian mountain range in Spain. It is known as the Pasiega Mountain. The pass connects Espinosa de los Monteros, in the region of Las Merindades in Burgos, with San Roque de Riomiera, in the Pasiegos Valleys of Cantabria. At 1316m, it is the third highest mountain pass in Cantabria, after the San Glorio (1609 m) and Piedrasluengas (1354 m) passes. The Portillo de Lunada was featured in penultimate Stage 20 in the Vuelta a EspaƱa 2024.
