Fluela Pass (East side)

The Flüela Pass, 2,383 m, links the Lower Engadin with Davos, in Graubünden, Switzerland. The Tour de Suisse has climbed it 16 times. In 2016 bad weather cut the race’s final stage down to this one climb from Susch. Miguel Ángel López attacked on it and was caught on the descent, but he won the race, the first Colombian to do so.

This ride starts at Susch and climbs to the pass, which the Engadin Radmarathon also comes up on its long route. A bronze spearhead found at the pass suggests that people were crossing it in prehistoric times. At the top the ride passes the Schwarzsee and the Flüela Hospiz, then ends a short way down the Davos side.
