From Le Biot, the steeper side of the Col du Corbier climbs 6 km at 8.6% to 1,237 m, in the Chablais, Haute-Savoie, France. Races heading for Chรขtel come up this way. The Tour de France first crossed the col in 1975, in Lucien Van Impeโs time trial from Morzine to Chรขtel. In 2013 David Veilleux went over the top alone on the first stage of the Critรฉrium du Dauphinรฉ and won at Champรฉry.
This ride starts down the Dranse dโAulps valley, passes near the ruins of the Abbaye dโAulps and climbs through Le Biot. In 2025 the Corbier was the last climb of the Tour de France Femmes: Demi Vollering led over the top, then Pauline Ferrand-Prรฉvot attacked 6.7 km from Chรขtel and won the stage and the Tour. The ride ends just over the col, beside a chapel built in 1844.
